How to quit Polkadot election lock

If you have participate Polkadot council election, you will find there are still some DOT locked in the block explorer even after your unbonding.

So you need to do the unvote process to get your DOT fully unlocked, the steps are:

Open PolkadotJS Dapp

The the menu click ‘Governance’-‘Council’, and then click “Vote”

Click “Unvote all” and sign the transaction

Based on the voting weight you select when election, there will be different unlock period. By default, the unlock period is 0 days, and you will get your DOT fully unlocked when the transaction has confirmed.

MathWallet Ethereum Private Trading Guide

General trading

The trading record in Ethereum is visible to everyone by default, if the arbitrageurs read the real-time trading in the memory pool, they could design arbitrage models which cause a great loss to general users.

General transactions issues:

During the trading process on Uniswap, due to the AMM model of Uniswap, when the user issues the transaction, the robot detects the transaction broadcast, and makes the transaction with higher GAS in advance. After the user finish the transaction, at this time, the token of robot’s transaction is at a premium, so the robot gains profits and the user suffers losses.

For example, the red marks the arbitrage robots, which monitored the trading broadcast of 13 ETH, therefore it finished 70 ETH transaction in advance. After 13 ETH transaction is completed, the robots just sold the token with net cost of 70 ETH, in the price of 74 ETH and gained profits 4 ETH. However for the trader with 13 ETH, if he sells his token now his profit will be less than 13 ETH, the profit loss will be obtained by the robot, and all of those actions are undetectable. To avoid being tricked by arbitrage robots, the latest version of MathWallet supports private trading.

Privacy trading

Private transactions are only visible to the pool and will be not broadcast onto other nodes.

How to set up private transaction?

Click MeSettingsNode Setting – Ethereum and select Taichi Network then save.

After the setting all transactions will be conducted privately, which can effectively reduce the risk of arbitrage. If general transaction needs to be restored, just switch to the original node.

Go to the cross-chain scroll screen and select the asset. ETH/USDT/MATH is currently supported.

Let’s take MATH as an example

After entering the quantity, select the chain to be transferred (Currently MathWallet supports Solana, and more cross-chain transfers will be supported in the future) and select the address.

Click on the approve and wait the confirmation on chain, then the cross chain transfer will be completed. Click on the transfer record in the upper right corner to inquire the order details.

Solana →Ethereum

Switch to Solana chain,select cross-chain,then follow the same steps as above.

Note that for Ethereum token, you need got to ‘History’ and claim the token manually, then the token will show in your balance.

Go to Chainx 1.0 and click the wallet logo&name in the upper left corner on the first page of your wallet

Click export private key

Back to the home page of your wallet, click the menu in the upper right corner, go to ChainX 2.0, and click “+”

Select Import walletImport with Private key 

Paste the back up private key, select Edwards (ED25519) in the encryption type and enter the wallet name and password to complete the import of the wallet

The imported wallet address is the same as the ChainX 1.0 address. If the imported address is different, verify if the encryption type was wrong
