What is BRC-20
BRC-20 is a token standard based on the Bitcoin network, similar to the ERC-20 in the Ethereum.
It utilizes 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 of 𝗝𝗦𝗢𝗡 data to deploy token contracts, mint and transfer tokens.
Follow guide below and start using BRC-20:
First, switch to the Bitcoin network.
Create or import a wallet that has BRC-20 tokens and select “Taproot” in address type.
This will display a wallet address starting with “bc”. Click on “Add Assets”
In the search bar, enter the name of the BRC-20 token you own, and then add the token (if the token is already configured, it will appear in the search results. If the token you want to add is not listed, you can request its addition in the feedback channel of the official MathWallet Discord group, and we will review and add it as soon as possible).
Once added, you will be able to see your BRC-20 tokens in your wallet and perform transfer or receive operations.
